Celeb Dentist Will Never Forget Her First…

Dr. Jennifer Jablow's first time was nerve-wracking.

I’ll never forget my first presentation. It was for the first product I invented for my oral care line. I was in front of a boardroom of high power executives at a large pharma/cosmetic company called Del labs (they owned Sally Hansen and Orajel at the time). I had been working on the patents and prototypes for a few years and was hoping they would see my vision.

It was pretty intimidating, to say the least. I had never done this, but I was well-received and was surprised how well it went. Unfortunately, the company sold off its oral care division a few months later so nothing happened. I was bummed but appreciative of the confidence it gave me.

The path took me longer than I hoped but it prepared me for a very important meeting a few years later with the CEO of HSN who took a liking to me and my product line. IntelliWHiTE was launched a few months after that and two years later I have many happy WHiTE smiles sold on HSN!

The moral of this story is: don’t get discouraged. It may take many meetings and revisions but if you believe in your ideas and yourself…keep at it!!
