I love a Recessionista because…

I love a Recessionista in any economy, even if she’s capable of being an I-Can-Buy-Whatever-I-Want-Whenever-I-Want-ista, because she understands that it’s not about the peripheral stuff: the fancy dinners or clothes or cars, or trying to present a fake version of herself that doesn’t really exist. Recessionistas keep it simple, live by the adage of “less is more,” appreciate the little things like a good conversation, and are confident in their own skin.

Also, it helps if they think I’m handsome.
