She’s the petite hardbody who has whipped the butts of Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jennifer Aniston into shape with her world renowned “Tracy Anderson Method.” Using a combination of dancing and fitness, Anderson gets results — and so does her new line of leggings, designed specifically to keep up! We caught up with her about the biz of rubbing (well-toned) elbows with the stars as a celebrity trainer.

Recessionista: What’s it like sweating it out with celebrities?

Tracy: I say the same thing to my celebrity clients as I do to my studio and at-home clients: you must be dedicated and motivated to achieve your results. It isn’t going to happen overnight, and it’s going to challenge you —  but you will see your body transform and have results you can sustain for a lifetime.

R: We’ve been hearing a lot about your metamorphosis workout program. Dare we say it sounds…life-changing? What makes your program different?

T: I have identified 4 different body types and Metamorphosis is made up of 4 different programs which target a specific problem area. The program runs for 90 days and once you complete it, you have the option to continue on to continue to progress your results to the next level.

R: Okay, we’re listening…So what gave you the idea to branch out into apparel?

T: For years, people have always asked me where I get my leggings and I have never known how to properly answer… because I am constantly cutting, tailoring, and mixing fabrics to create my leggings!

R: What kind of women are these leggings geared towards?

T: Similar to my Metamorphosis program, there are 4 different leggings developed around the 4 different body types and problem areas. There is one for Omnicentric (all over), Abcentric (abs), Hip centric (outer thigh), and glutecentric (butt). These leggings will hide your problem areas.

R: So what you’re saying is, they’re magical! Where can we snag a pair?

T: Head over to Edition 01 — and don’t forget to use the coupon code TAM25OFF to get 25% off!

R: What do you believe is the key of being successful?

T: Motivation and believing in yourself and what you do!
