Learning a ton from these neat ariltecs.
I work at a university as well and there are quite a few rceitave vs. proactive moments!! I agree plan and bring your snacks. I bought a super cute cooler from Target and pack all my meals/snacks the night before so they’re ready to go in the morning. I try to get out for at least a 20-30 min walk during lunch time (they HAVE to give you a break during the day, so take it! Don’t try to catch up on work or read blogs/emails.) When things get really stressful, I try yoga breathing and remind myself that this is not life or death! My mom has worked in the ER/ICU at hospitals since I was born and that perspective on work has realy helped. No one is literally going to die if I don’t return their email at the end of the day. That reminder has helped me to do what I can and do my best, and not sweat the small things. Good luck! Congrats on the new job Also, I just noted your selection of Girl Talk tunes. They are my favorite to run to!!
