We felt (a little) bad for Google yesterday when the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) slapped it with a $22.5 million fine to settle privacy charges. The fine would be the largest penalty ever imposed on a single company by the FTC — ouch. That is, until one reporter pointed out that it will take Google only about 5 hours to make enough money to cover the penalty. That’s around $55,000 per minute…more than many people make in an entire year. So that got us thinking: who else is making major dough in the same amount of time it takes to make a K-cup of coffee??
